SW03 - Add Keys to KVM MCU Dump Tool (MC9S12XEP100) KVM 2010-2020 Requires Write Back

SW03 is the Precoding Dealer Key Dump Tool using MC9S12XEP100 MCU. Used for adding NEW keys to KVM dump file.

Important: Write-Back Required

MUST write back the new dump file to the KVM for keys to work
No Emergency Start - new keys will NOT have emergency start capability
Uses Fixed ID keys (HW05/HW06) - you cannot copy existing key data

Better Option: Use SW09 Instead

For most cases, SW09 is recommended instead of SW03:

No write-back required - works without modifying dump
Emergency Start - keys work for emergency start
Copy existing key positions (1 or 2) directly to HW05/HW06 Change ID keys

How SW03 Works

Read D-Flash and EEP data from vehicle's KVM using external tools
Use Lock50 to add new key ID to the dump file
Write back the modified dump to KVM
New key will work but no emergency start

External Programming Tool Required

Lock50 does not read or write MCU/EEPROM directly. To extract the dump data from the KVM module, you must use an external programming tool to read the MCU or EEPROM.

Lock50 only works with the dump file data - it cannot extract or write back the data to the module itself.

Use SW03 when: You need to add keys in position 3 or higher where no existing key data exists.

SW14 adds used locked PEPS/UWB keys to RFA.

Game-changing capability! Previously impossible - now you can add locked keys from donor vehicles. Uses SPC560B60L3 MCU dump tool.

Last Resort Method

SW14 is designed as a last resort option when OBD methods are not working due to:

Vehicle ECU/module damage
Vehicle in fault/diagnostic mode with many errors
OBD communication issues preventing standard programming
When all other OBD methods have failed

Supported Fixed ID Keys

SW14 works with Fixed ID keys only - pre-programmed keys with permanent IDs. The following key types are supported:

Adding Keys to Dump

When adding a NEW key to a dump file, you can use any supplier's keys

Copy/Emulate from Car EEPROM Dump

When copying or emulating from an existing key's EEPROM dump from the car, you MUST use LOCK50 Change ID keys only

For functions using HW13/HW14 keys with RFA modules (except SW08), use the HW03-A solder-free adapter to connect to chip reading tools that read DFlash from unlocked RFA modules.

Write-back: When using HW13/HW14 for emulation - no write-back needed. When using Fixed ID keys - must write back the new dump file from Lock50.
